Fall 2025 PBL Showcase
Our Fall 2025 PBL Showcase is here! Throughout each school year school year, we are proud to highlight some of the amazing projects happening in our classrooms that our teachers are doing with their students as part of our district-wide PBL initiative.
During the first few months of this school year, some of the projects that our students have worked on include using virtual reality to investigate the different regions of the world, learning how to create a realistic monthly budget that balances income and expenses, examining the life cycle of a pumpkin and comparing and contrasting their qualities, acting as forensic scientists to study light waves to prove authentic signature, and so much more.
We are also proud to highlight how our students are learning from real-world experts in their respective field. We recently had visits from former News 12 meteorologist Samantha Augeri, author of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series Jeff Kinney, and a line technician who works for PSEG Long Island.
Check out some pictures from a few of the projects below! The full showcase can be found here. Showcases from previous school years will always remain available on the PBL page on our website.
